Verus Recruitment, a Sheffield-based agency specialising in recruitment for the Engineering, IT, and Games industries, approached Fenti to revitalise its brand identity.
With a name rooted in the Latin word “Verus” meaning truthful, Verus Recruitment wanted a brand that embodied its core values of integrity and transparency while standing out in a competitive market.
The rebrand aimed to create a visual identity that reflected their industry expertise resonated with their target audience and projected a dynamic, modern image.
Fenti took on the rebranding challenge of crafting a new logo, brand guidelines, marketing collateral, and promotional materials that would bring Verus Recruitment’s vision to life.
We began thoroughly researching Verus Recruitment’s target industries and competitors. This analysis informed our strategy, ensuring the new brand would not only resonate with their current clients but also attract new business in the Engineering, IT, and Games sectors.
The name “Verus” not only means truthful but also evokes the strength and valour of a gladiator. Verus Recruitment envisioned a logo that would incorporate gladiators, symbolising their fighting spirit in finding the best talent for their clients.
Verus aimed to keep its existing colour palette of blue, orange, and white; along with their brand fonts.
After a collaborative process with Verus Recruitment, we finalised a logo featuring a stylised “V” with a gladiator helmet integrated into the design. Verus’ new identity has not only distinguished them within their specialised industries but has also energised their team and clients alike. The gladiator-themed logo has become a standout feature, symbolising the company’s dedication to truth and strength in recruitment.
